The State Duma urged not to worry about blocking Telegram in Russia

It is expected that the complete blocking of the Telegram messenger in Russia will not happen, since this social network maintains a dialogue with government agencies. This was announced on January 16 by Andrei Svintsov, Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Information Policy, Information Technologies and Communications from the Liberal Democratic Party.

"I believe that Telegram cooperates quite effectively with the governments of most countries of the world, including Russia. Therefore, I think there is no need to worry about the fate of Telegram," he said in an interview with TASS.
