The cause of death of Vladislav Baumgertner, the former head of Uralkali, whose body was found yesterday at noon in the Avdim district, is still unclear. The autopsy was completed on the afternoon of January 15th.

"Samples were taken for scientific, toxicological and histopathological tests, as well as for DNA tests. The information claims that everything converges around the fact that the body belongs to a 56-year-old Russian businessman who has been missing since January 7," the Cypriot edition of Philenews reported.

It is specified that the final and official confirmation of his identity will occur after the completion of the results of DNA tests.

On January 14, a man's body was found in Cyprus in the search area for the former head of Uralkali. Currently, investigators are waiting for final confirmation that it is the missing businessman who has been found.

The Cyprus police announced the start of an operation to search for the former head of the Uralkali company on January 11. Law enforcement officers asked anyone with information about Baumgertner's location to contact them. The Russian Embassy in Cyprus stated that the situation with the search for an entrepreneur is under control.
