The Deputy Mayor of Moscow summed up the results of the Design Workshop competition for three years

Since 2023, a Design Workshop competition has been held in Moscow for representatives of the creative industries. Hundreds of designers, artists, marketers and students have joined him all the time, said Deputy Mayor Natalia Sergunina.

"Participants can show their skills and gain experience working with large customers. The contestants have already created 236 design projects for organizations from different regions of Russia," said Sergunina.

Souvenir product concepts were developed for 40 partners, including VDNH, the Tretyakov Gallery, the Tsaritsyno Museum-Reserve, and the Gzhel Porcelain Factory.

Last year, for the "Made in Russia" domestic product promotion program, the contestants proposed design ideas for umbrellas, sleep masks, and passport covers. And for the center of creative industries of Buryatia, they have developed a collection of clothes and accessories decorated with national ornaments.

For the Ostankino and Kuskovo Museum-Reserve, T-shirts with prints inspired by the subjects of paintings, thermoses in the form of an ancient oven and lamps resembling poultry houses were invented. The participants of the competition presented cloth bags, pens and notebooks with satellite images, as well as bookmarks for books and badges with quotes from famous cosmonauts and scientists to the Museum of Cosmonautics. For the 20th anniversary of the Total Dictation campaign, they designed clothes, caps and postcards, and Gorky Park was offered souvenirs made from recycled materials: raincoats, panama hats and accessories.

The Lomonosov Cluster, the Museum of Russian Impressionism, the Moscow City Park, the Zotov Center cultural space, the Moskino Film Factory and others also became partners of the competition.
