70 Baptismal fonts to be prepared in Rostov region

In the Rostov region, 70 baptismal fonts are organized for traditional ablution. Experts have already checked the bottom of the reservoirs and set up approaches to the venues.

According to NovostiRostov news agency, rescuers, medics and firefighters will be on duty near the fonts, and more than 200 pieces of equipment will be involved. All places will be equipped with heating and changing facilities.

In 2025, more than 30 thousand people participated in ritual bathing. Believers mostly come to the baptismal font on the night of January 18-19.

In Vladivostok, two sea fonts will be equipped for Epiphany.
