Rabies quarantine was introduced in one of the Tyumen villages
A part of the village of Kazanskoye in the Tyumen region has been quarantined for animal rabies since January 14. The corresponding decree was signed by the regional government.
According to the <url> news agency, it is forbidden to hold exhibitions and fairs in Kazan, which may cause movement and accumulation of susceptible animals. It is forbidden to capture animals for export to zoos.
Earlier, on January 6, it was reported that in the Samara region, quarantine was introduced in four settlements due to the detection of foci of animal rabies. The quarantine regime will last at least 60 days from the moment of destruction of the last sick animal. According to the documents, the territories within a radius of 3 km from the identified foci are officially recognized as unfavorable rabies sites.
