Schoolgirl Victoria, who offered to replace journalist Pavel Zarubin during a direct line from Russian President Vladimir Putin, came to the Kremlin on January 15 for the ceremony of presenting credentials to foreign ambassadors by the head of state.

"Today, 9-year-old Victoria is filming her first reportage in her life. And immediately in the Kremlin," wrote Zarubin in his Telegram channel.

In a video posted by Zarubin, the journalist asked the girl about her impressions of working in the Kremlin. Victoria replied that everything was "just fine."

Victoria made her proposal to the President of the Russian Federation during his press conference on December 19. She said that after graduating from high school and university, she could replace Zarubin, who by that time, she assumed, would already retire. Putin congratulated the girl on the upcoming New Year and asked her not to send a journalist from his pool to retire ahead of time, and offered her an internship with this journalist.

On the same day, the press service of Ural Federal University (UrFU) told Izvestia about Victoria's invitation to take a tour. According to Alexey Fayustov, Acting Dean of the UrFU Faculty of Journalism, work in the Kremlin pool is responsible, and it requires a good journalism and media education, which has been provided by his faculty for many years.
