The United States commented on Lavrov's words about negotiations with Macron

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov actually delivered an ultimatum to French President Emmanuel Macron regarding a possible dialogue between the two countries. This was announced on January 15 by American journalist Rick Sanchez.

"Be serious or get out — this is Lavrov's ultimatum to Macron," Sanchez wrote on his page on the social network X (ex. Twitter).

He noted that after Macron became a fierce advocate of Russophobia and provided Kiev with weapons, as well as involving his country in a series of crises, he is now trying to use possible negotiations with Moscow as a PR move. However, according to the journalist, Russia demands real results, not empty words.
