- Deputy Mayor Sergunina spoke about the possibilities of the Moscow Innovation Cluster
Last year, the capital's enterprises raised over 11 billion rubles through the Moscow Innovation Cluster (MIC) i.moscow platform. The total amount of grants and subsidies has reached almost 4 billion rubles, with investments and preferential loans amounting to over 7 billion, Deputy Mayor Natalia Sergunina said.
"Last year, more than 2,000 new participants and partners joined the Moscow Innovation Cluster. Today, almost 41,000 entrepreneurs from the capital and 86 other regions of Russia use its opportunities," Sergunina said.
Over 50 digital services and services are presented at i.moscow. With their help, technology market players can test their developments, manage intellectual property, attract investments, find customers, and grow their businesses.
Over the seven years of the cluster's operation, almost 10,000 companies have received subsidies and grants. According to Sergunina, the total amount of financial support amounted to 22.5 billion rubles.
The innovation pilot testing program remains one of the most in-demand tools. It unites 318 city, federal and commercial sites, 49 of them joined last year. Tests of the capital's developments are carried out not only in Moscow, but also in Yakutia, Tatarstan, St. Petersburg, Primorsky and Trans-Baikal Territories, Novosibirsk Region, as well as in Belarus, Kazakhstan and India.
MIC residents have the opportunity to compensate for the cost of conducting tests. The city provides a grant of up to 4 million rubles for logistics, equipment installation, maintenance, repairs and other expenses. Since 2022, support has been approved for almost 826 million rubles.
To accelerate the implementation of developments, the Customer Showcase service was launched last year. It contains requests from large businesses that project authors can respond to.
The Technomarket service helps to build interaction between companies and scientific organizations. More than 40 universities and eight research institutes have joined it.
