Preparations for Epiphany bathing are continuing in Tula. Festive ablutions will take place in the Central Park of Culture and Recreation named after P. P. Belousov.

Two fonts will be placed on the territory of the public space. Workers have already started clearing the approaches to the installation site.

According to TSN24, there will also be heating points for changing clothes and a field kitchen with hot tea in the park.

The Holy Water prayer service will be held on January 18 at 21:00 p.m. at the Sredny Pond dam. Bathing will end on January 19 at 2:00.

Earlier in January, Izvestia reported on the history and spiritual meaning of the feast of Epiphany. The celebration is dedicated to a great event in the life of Jesus Christ — his baptism in the Jordan River.
