Cloudy, snow, and icy conditions await residents of the capital region on Wednesday, January 14. The corresponding forecast is published on the website of the Hydrometeorological Center.

The air temperature in Moscow will range from -8 to -6 degrees during the day. At night, the thermometer will drop to -9.

In the Moscow region, it will be from -10 to -5 degrees during the day, and at night the temperature may drop to -12, in some places to -17 degrees.

Westerly and northwesterly winds with a speed of 2-7 m/s are expected.

Atmospheric pressure will range from 752 to 753 mmHg.

The press service of the Moscow city administration reported on January 12 that up to 16 cm of snow could fall in Moscow and its region in the coming days. It was noted that even then, starting on Monday, in the mornings in the city and the region, continuous mechanized sweeping of the roadway and sidewalks was repeatedly carried out, followed by deicing treatment. The authorities urged motorists to be careful when driving.
