Almost 600 units of medical equipment were received by the institutions of Transbaikalia in 2025

Medical institutions of the Trans-Baikal Territory received 593 pieces of equipment in 2025. This was reported to ChitaMedia news agency by the press service of the regional Ministry of Health.

Medical equipment was delivered in 11 months of 2025. Among the most expensive devices are CT scanners, mammographs, sterilizers, anaesthetic breathing machines, X—ray machines and ultrasound scanners.

During the same period, nine medical and obstetric centers, five rural outpatient clinics and one district hospital were built in the region. In addition, 19 institutions were overhauled in Transbaikalia, and two more were scheduled for 2026. The total amount of financing for these events amounted to over 1 billion rubles.

According to the news agency, repairs are continuing this year at the Zabaykalsky Regional clinical hospital and the regional children's tuberculosis sanatorium. The renovation of the ZKKB State Medical University involves the renovation of about 19 departments, including operating units.
