According to the investigation, the conspirators wanted to send incendiary devices along the explored routes. The ultimate targets of the sabotage could be residents of Germany and Ukraine.
In December 2025, three Ukrainian citizens were detained in Poland, who had equipment found in their car, including a spy device detector and hacking equipment. Antennas, laptop computers, a large supply of SIM cards, hard drives and video cameras were seized from the suspects. Despite claims that they are IT specialists, the detainees could not explain why they needed such equipment.
