Budget revenues of the Yaroslavl Region have increased by 50% in four years, to 145 billion rubles. This became known on January 13 at a meeting between Vladimir Putin and the governor of the region, Mikhail Evraev. In addition, wage growth in the region is twice as fast as the rate of inflation, due to which the poverty rate has dropped to 6.7%. At the same time, Vladimir Putin called the situation with roads in the region very serious and pointed out the need to overhaul 28% of healthcare facilities.

What was discussed at the meeting

The Yaroslavl region is actively involved in supporting its fighters: it helps military personnel and their families, rehabilitates soldiers from the Belgorod and Kursk regions, and also works with the sponsored Akimovsky district of the Zaporizhia region. In the region there is a program "Heroes of Yaroslavl" — by analogy with the federal program "Time of Heroes" — 300 people participate in it. The regional medal "Honor and Glory" was also established, which was awarded to several fighters.

The index of physical volume of investments in the Yaroslavl region is three times higher than the national average. According to this indicator, the region ranks third in the Central Federal District. GRP figures have grown by about 12% per year, and the authorities expect to exceed the target of 1 trillion rubles. Budget revenues of the Yaroslavl Region increased by 50% in four years, to 145 billion rubles. Mikhail Evraev stressed that all commercial debts of municipalities in the region have been repaid. Wage growth in the region is approximately at the level of the Russian average, it is twice as fast as the growth of inflation, and the poverty rate has dropped from 8.7% to 6.7% in three to four years. Salaries of state employees from 2022 to 2025 were indexed by 48%, and social support measures by 30%.

The construction of a new children's hospital building is being completed in the region. According to the governor, construction of a new polyclinic in Krasny Bor is also underway in the region. Vladimir Putin noted that the new hospital is a very necessary facility, but urged not to forget about the situation as a whole. "28% of the buildings of healthcare facilities are in need of major repairs," the president said.

The Head of State also drew attention to the problem with roads, which is quite acute. 2.1 thousand km have been repaired in the Yaroslavl region, but much remains to be done, the head of the region confirmed. In addition, the fleet will be completely new in 2026, the governor reported. "And by the way, if we talk about roads, we entered the top 10 regions and received the Golden Rink national award for high-quality repairs," added Evraev.

Yaroslavl region has entered the top 10 regions in terms of tourism. The tourist flow to the region has grown to 12.5 million people. A new Yaroslavl Golden Ring International Airport is currently being built here. Moreover, most of the construction is carried out at the expense of private investment, not the budget. "We are the capital of the Golden Ring. Yaroslavl, Rostov Veliky, Uglich, Pereslavl-Zalessky are part of the Golden Ring. Plus Rybinsk with very interesting signs, Myshkin, which everyone knows, Danilov, the most beautiful village in Russia Vyatskoye, the huge Rybinsk Sea, and people come to see temples and monasteries," said the head of the region.
