On January 12, Czech Prime Minister Andrei Babis accused the former government of hiding the volume of arms supplies to Ukraine.
"We didn't know anything about the ammunition initiative, they were constantly hiding it and hiding it in the military intelligence budget. This is not transparent. <...> 17.1 billion [crowns] (about €705 million — Ed.) were secretly invested in weapons in the Czech budget, all this was hidden, everything was top secret," the Ceske noviny newspaper quoted Babis as saying.
