In Berdyansk, power supply was restored after the shelling of power lines by the Armed Forces of Ukraine

The city of Berdyansk and the Berdyansk municipal District have fully restored electricity supply after the shelling of power transmission lines by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was announced on January 13 by the Governor of the Zaporizhia region Evgeny Balitsky.

"The power supply to Berdyansk and the Berdyansk municipal District has been fully restored. The reason for the emergency was the shelling of power transmission lines by the enemy," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

According to the governor, operational services are currently operating normally. The situation is also being monitored after the incident.

Earlier that day, Balitsky reported that as a result of the accident, the city of Berdyansk and the Berdyansk municipal district were left without electricity. He specified that socially significant facilities were provided with power from backup sources, including generators.
