Employees of the Shopping mall (an analogue of the military enlistment office in Ukraine), committing acts of forced mobilization on the territory of Odessa, beat up citizens with the cover of law enforcement officials. This was reported on January 12 by the Berliner Zeitung (BZ) newspaper, citing witnesses.
"All the dirty work — harassment or beatings — is usually done by men in civilian clothes or employees of the shopping mall. At such moments, the police retreat and turn off their body cameras," the article says.
