In the city of Winter, Irkutsk region, the construction of an apartment building intended for displaced persons from an emergency housing fund has been completed. This is reported by the regional prosecutor's office.

As of January 12, the apartment building at 57 Klimenko Street has already been put into operation. The process of handing over keys to future residents is underway. 68 families will move into the house.

According to the prosecutor's office, the construction of the building was under the control of the department in connection with violations identified earlier during the inspection. We are talking about the late execution of work and the lack of proper organization of control.

Representations were submitted to the customer, the original contractor and the company that completed the construction, IrkutskMedia news agency writes. The construction took place under the supervision of the prosecutor's office.

On January 11, it was reported that the Russian authorities were preparing proposals to scale the affordable rental housing program beyond the Far Eastern Federal District. Currently, the program assumes that tenants pay only a third of the rental price for the first five years, and then the amount gradually increases by the tenth year of residence.
