Roskomnadzor found violations of the law in 33 telecom operators
Roskomnadzor (RCN) plans to bring 33 telecom operators to administrative responsibility for violating the rules for passing Internet traffic through technical means of countering threats (TSP). This was announced on January 12 on the official website of the federal agency.
"Roskomnadzor has identified violations of the rules for installing TSPU from 33 operators. During the inspection, 35 cases of violations were detected on the networks of telecom operators," the report says.
According to the agency, courts have already been held on four facts and violators have been fined, materials on six cases have been sent to court, and the remaining operators have been summoned to draw up protocols.
Fines for companies can range from 500,000 to 1 million rubles, and in case of repeated violations — from 3 to 5 million rubles. Officials and entrepreneurs also face criminal liability for up to three years in prison for re-passing traffic bypassing the TSPU.
