Miroshnik pointed to the attacks of the Ukrainian Armed Forces on the evacuating residents of Krasnoarmeysk and Dimitrov

The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) are attacking residents of the Krasnoarmeysko-Dimitrovskaya agglomeration of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) as they try to evacuate to Russian-controlled territory. This was announced on January 12 by Ambassador-at-Large of the Russian Foreign Ministry Rodion Miroshnik.

According to him, Ukrainian militants were "squeezing" civilians out of their homes, forcing people to leave the territory.

"If they (residents. — Ed.) are leaving it (agglomeration — Ed.) in the direction controlled by Russian troops, they are also being shelled, killed or injured," TASS quoted Miroshnik as saying.

The Ambassador noted that a similar situation had previously occurred in Avdiivka.

On the same day, Miroshnik reported that Ukrainian citizens were shot by Ukrainian soldiers in Selidovo for refusing to leave their homes. He added that the investigation has numerous testimonies from surviving residents who conveyed promises of Ukrainian militants to "kill everyone and destroy everything" when leaving the city.
