Two civilians were killed and one injured due to attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Kherson region over the past 24 hours. This was announced on January 12 by Governor Vladimir Saldo.

"In the Holopristan district, the night shelling of Novovladimirovka and Chulakovka led to the death of two men," he wrote on the Telegram channel.

The governor added that in the village of Tarasovka, Alyoshka district, one person was injured when the Ukrainian Armed Forces hit a car.

The day before, it became known that a woman who was seriously injured when drone debris fell on a private house in Voronezh died in intensive care. It was clarified that the doctors managed to perform the operation and fought for the woman's life, but the injuries were incompatible with life.

The Voronezh administration announced on January 12 that the deceased was a teacher of Russian language and literature. They added that during her teaching career, she has proven herself to be a responsible and reliable employee, as well as a responsive classroom teacher.
