The EAC Group, owned by the former CEO of Red Wings airline Evgeny Solodilin, became the owner of three companies that were part of the Volga-Dnepr Group. This follows from the data of the Unified State Register of Legal Entities. The corresponding changes occurred on January 11.

The EAC Group has taken control of Volga-Dnepr-Moscow, Atran and AK AirBridgeCargo (AirBridgeCargo Airlines), according to the Unified State Register of Legal Entities.

The fact that Solodilin, the former CEO of Zhukovsky Airport and Red Wings Airline, intends to buy out the entire Volga-Dnepr cargo group, became known in September 2025.

Until 2022, the Volga-Dnepr Group was one of the largest in the global market of air transportation of superheavy and oversized cargo. After that, she was sanctioned by a number of countries, including the United States, which led to a crisis in the company.

At the end of July 2024, Red Wings Airline came under the control of another Rostec structure, Aviakapital-Service leasing company. It was also clarified that Igor Zavyalov, Deputy CEO of Rostec, was elected as the new chairman of the Red Wings Board of Directors.
