Fraudsters posing as members of public organizations force Russians to install malicious software (software) allegedly to provide assistance in finding missing relatives in the special military operation zone (SVO). This was reported on January 12 in the press center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation.
"To do this, they send files for download. For example, it can be Order 18.02.apk, Search_TO.apk, List(2025).apk and others. At the same time, fraudsters convince victims that documents or specialized applications contain information about military personnel," TASS reports.
