In Russia, it is planned to ban duplicate websites with information from the Unified State Register of Real Estate (USRN) to combat fraud and protect personal data of citizens. This was announced on January 12 by Vladimir Koshelev, first deputy chairman of the State Duma Committee on Construction and Housing and Communal Services.

"The threats posed by these sites are multifaceted. The most serious threat is the leakage of personal data. By entering "extract from the Unified State Register of Legal Entities" in the browser's search bar, a person receives several links and, without checking the site address, opens the first of them, often ending up on a duplicate site. Without understanding, he enters his personal data, bank card data, providing fraudsters with his data," TASS cites the statement.
