The figure skaters who received a quota for participation in the 2026 Olympic Games (OI-2026) from the US national team have become known. The announcement of quotas took place on January 11.

Athletes with Russian roots will represent the USA in men's single skating. Among them are two-time world champion Ilya Malinin, two-time U.S. Championship medalist Andrew Torgashev and U.S. Championship bronze medalist Maxim Naumov, the son of tragically deceased 1994 world champions Evgenia Shishkova and Vadim Naumov.

The United States women's figure skating team includes world champion Alice Liu, three-time U.S. champion Amber Glenn and World Championship medalist Isabeau Levito.

Elijah Kam and Danny O'Shea, as well as Emily Chan and Akira Spencer Hou, became members of the US national team in pair skating. The sports couple Alisa Efimova and Mikhail Mitrofanov, despite the title of US champions, could not take the quota due to the delay in granting citizenship to their partner.

The United States will be represented in ice dancing by Olympic team winners Edison Chalk and Evan Bates, U.S. Championship medalists Emilia Zingas and Vadim Kolesnik, as well as championship medalists Cristina Carreira and Anthony Ponomarenko.

On December 1, the International Olympic Committee (IOC) announced that Russian figure skaters Adelia Petrosyan and Peter Gumennik had accepted an invitation to participate in the 2026 Olympic Games in a neutral status.
