Daniil Medvedev wins the 22nd ATP title of his career

On January 11, Russian tennis player Daniil Medvedev became the winner of the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) 250 tournament in Brisbane, Australia with a prize fund of $800 thousand.

In the championship final, he beat American Brandon Nakashima with a score of 6:2, 7:6 (7:1). The match lasted more than 1.5 hours. Taking into account this victory, the score in personal meetings of tennis players is 3:0 in favor of the Russian.

For the 29-year-old Medvedev, this title was the 22nd in his singles career and the first since October 2025, when he won the ATP 250 tournament in Alma Ata. Thanks to this victory, Medvedev will rise to 12th place in the updated APR ranking.
