Striker Daniel Sprong transferred from HC CSKA to Avtomobilist
Striker Daniel Sprong left the hockey club (HC) CSKA and moved to Yekaterinburg Avtomobilist. This was announced on January 10 by the press service of the army club.
"Daniel Sprong is joining the club from Yekaterinburg, and CSKA has received monetary compensation," the Telegram channel said.
The Dutch hockey player joined the CSKA team in the summer of 2025. The army club thanked the athlete for playing and wished him good luck in his future career.
Sprong played in the NHL for the Anaheim Ducks and Washington Capitals, as well as for the Canadian Vancouver Canucks before joining the KHL.
On January 6, Czech national team forward Wojciech Cichar was awarded the title of the most valuable player of the World Youth Hockey Championship among athletes under 20 years old, which ended in the United States. 18-year-old Cichar became the top scorer of the Czech national team, scoring 12 points — four goals and eight assists.
