Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences reported on a favorable situation for cardiovascular diseases

The situation regarding cardiovascular diseases in Russia is favorable due to the growing confidence of patients in doctors. This was announced on January 9 by Leo Bokeria, Chief freelance specialist of cardiovascular Surgery at the Russian Ministry of Health, President of the Bakulev National Research Medical Center, President of the National Health League, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

"In general, the situation [regarding cardiovascular diseases in the Russian Federation] is favorable, because patients are trusting the medical staff more and more, who are certainly increasing their knowledge base," the TASS news agency quoted him as saying.

It is noted that scientific and practical interest in this field of medicine is increasing. So, events are held annually with a large number of doctors who operate on the heart, where they share their experiences.
