On January 7, an eyewitness shared with Izvestia the details of the first minutes of the helicopter crash in the Perm Region.
According to the woman, she and her friends arrived at the ski base, from where a little later she heard a strange noise and screams of people. Upon reaching the nearest lake, the eyewitnesses caught the fallen helicopter.
"The blades are bent and the tail is kind of lopsided. We ask what happened, they say there are either cables or wires, he fell, maybe the driver lost control," the woman said.
The helicopter crash in the Perm Region became known earlier that day. It was clarified that the incident occurred on the territory of the Ashatli Park recreation center in the Bardym municipal district. Two people died in the crash.
According to the Izvestia source, the helicopter was making an unauthorized flight in the area of the Ashatli Park recreation center. Later, the source clarified that Ilyas Gimadutdinov, an ex-deputy and owner of the Tattranscom transport company, died in a plane crash in the Perm Region.
The preliminary cause of the helicopter crash in the Perm Region was a technical malfunction and pilot error, according to the Central Interregional Investigative Department of Transport of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation. On the same day, the Federal Air Transport Agency classified the helicopter crash in the Kama region as a disaster.
