The children of soldiers of the special military operation (SVO) can rightfully be proud of their parents. This was announced on January 7 by Russian President Vladimir Putin at the end of the Christmas Service.

"The children of their fighters can rightfully be proud of their parents, as they have always been proud of their warriors in Russia," Putin said.

He added that defending the Fatherland is the "holy mission" of the Russian warrior.
