A man died after a fight with a teenager in the Leningrad region

A man aged 35 died as a result of a fight with a teenager in the town of Telman in the Leningrad region. This was announced on January 6 by the regional Ministry of Internal Affairs.

"The body of an unemployed 35-year-old local resident was found at the scene by the district police commissioner," the agency said in a Telegram channel message.

The incident occurred the day before, when the police received a message about a man found unconscious. A 15-year-old schoolboy familiar with the deceased is suspected of murder. An investigation is being conducted into the incident, and the issue of initiating a criminal case is being resolved.

Earlier, on December 27, 2025, a teenager stabbed a former classmate to death at a New Year's disco at school. The incident occurred in the village of Kyzyl-Mazhylak in the Republic of Tyva. A 17-year-old young man who had previously studied at this school, but left after the 9th grade, came to the disco. He had an argument with a high school student he knew. They went outside, where the newcomer stabbed a peer with a knife.
