About 50 cars were stuck on the highway in Bashkiria due to a snowstorm

In the Arkhangelsk region of Bashkiria, about 50 cars were stuck on the Ufa– Inzer – Beloretsk highway due to a blizzard and snowfall. This was announced on January 6 by the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the region in the MAX messenger.

"All drivers and passengers will receive assistance if necessary. Delivery to the point of temporary stay in the village of Arkhangelskoye has also been organized for people," the department noted.

At the moment, eight people have applied to the point, including two children. The situation is under the control of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the Republic of Bashkortostan.

In the European part of the country, the temperature will be below normal, and in Siberia — from an abnormal -49 to a thaw.

Earlier, on January 4, it was reported that in Tatarstan, due to bad weather, temporary traffic restrictions were imposed for buses and trucks on federal highways, including the Kazan– Orenburg and Kazan–Ulyanovsk sections. The agency clarified that the restrictions will remain in effect until the weather conditions improve and are aimed at ensuring the safety of drivers and preventing road accidents.
