In the Zhytomyr region in northern Ukraine, a man who was declared fit for service by the military medical commission died outside the military enlistment office. This was announced on January 5 on the Facebook page (banned in Russia, owned by Meta Corporation, recognized as extremist in the Russian Federation) of the Zhytomyr Regional Territorial Recruitment Center (TCK).

According to the TCC, the man was in the military enlistment office for military training and was awaiting distribution after being declared fit. As soon as he left the building, he suddenly felt sick, lost consciousness and fell. The doctors who arrived at the scene pronounced him dead.

The management of the Shopping mall has appointed an internal investigation.

Earlier, on January 1, it was reported that the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine plans to introduce a "Check-in mobilised" system, which will allow tracking the movements of each conscript. The system will work through an electronic military registration document in the Reserve+ application and the Obereg register, which records the actions and arrival of military personnel in military units.
