CIPsO of Ukraine began sending AI-generated threats to Russian military personnel

The Centers for Information and Psychological Operations (CIPsO) of Ukraine send threatening messages generated by artificial intelligence (AI) to military personnel of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation on behalf of the command in order to steal personal data. This was reported on January 5 in the Russian law enforcement agencies.

"In messengers, the enemy sends threatening messages from fake accounts to servicemen of the Russian Armed Forces on behalf of the command, using their real names and photos found in open sources. The purpose is to steal the personal data of the victim, his relatives and colleagues, official information, as well as funds for further blackmail or other destructive effects on the serviceman," TASS cites the statement.
