The number of injured in an accident involving a passenger bus in the Tula region has increased to 14 people, 13 of whom were taken to medical institutions. This was announced on January 3 by the Minister of Health of the region Sergey Mukhin.
"As a result of the accident, 14 people received injuries of varying severity, including 12 women and two men. 13 injured people were taken to medical institutions in the region, one person refused to be evacuated to the hospital," he said in a message on the Telegram channel.
According to him, nine people were sent for outpatient treatment, four more were hospitalized in a moderate condition, there is no threat to their lives. The provision of medical care to the injured is under the personal control of the Minister of Health of the region.
Mukhin also noted that after receiving information about the accident to the operational department of the Disaster Medicine Center, 20 ambulance crews, including three emergency response teams, were sent to the scene.
An accident involving a passenger bus occurred earlier that day in the Bogoroditsky district of the Tula region, at the time of the accident there were about 40 people in the cabin. According to the regional traffic police, two people were hospitalized, their lives and health are not in danger.
