Three people were injured when the roof of a warehouse collapsed in Kuzbass

In the city of Yurga, Kemerovo region, a partial collapse of the roof of a warehouse occurred, injuring three people. This was reported on January 2 in the regional Investigation Department (SU) of the Investigative Committee (IC) of the Russian Federation.

"There was a report of a partial collapse of the roof of a warehouse of a commercial organization in Jurga, as a result of which three employees of the enterprise were injured, they received medical assistance on the spot," the report says.

A pre-investigation check was organized into the incident in accordance with Article 216 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Violation of safety rules during construction or other work"). According to preliminary data, the cause of the collapse was the accumulation of snow on the roof of the building.

According to the press service of the company that owns the warehouse, Wildberries & Russ, the workers received minor bruises. Employees and executors of the warehouse were promptly evacuated, access to the facility was temporarily restricted to ensure security. The exact causes of the incident are being investigated, and the company provides full assistance to law enforcement.
