The President of Finland mentioned relations with Russia in his New Year's address
Finnish President Alexander Stubb said that relations between Helsinki and Moscow have changed forever. He made the corresponding statement during a New Year's address to the citizens of the country, according to the national television and radio company Yle.
"Relations with Russia have changed forever," Stubb said.
The President also said that peace in Ukraine is "closer than ever," and added that Finland will do "everything possible to ensure the preservation of Ukraine's independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity."
