Nichushkin scored a hat-trick in a home match against St. Louis
Russian forward of the Colorado Avalanche hockey club Valery Nichushkin scored three goals against the St. Louis Blues on January 1 during the winning home game of the National Hockey League (NHL) regular season. The confrontation on the ice arena took place at the Ball Arena in Denver and ended with a score of 6:1.
Nichushkin's hat-trick was the third in his NHL career. In the 2025/26 season, the Russian scored 26 (11+15) points in 31 matches, Sport-Express reports.
Nathan McKinnon and Brock Nelson also scored goals for Colorado. Dalibor Dvorsky scored for the visiting team.
