In the United States, a participant in a popular reality show committed the murder of his cellmate three weeks before he was released. This was reported on December 29 by the New York Post (NYP).

"Chad Aaron Ollinger, who gained fame through his participation in the program "The Mystery of the Blind Frog Ranch" on the Discovery Channel, is accused of murdering his cellmate," the article says.

It is specified that the man received injuries incompatible with life, which were inflicted with a blunt object, and died at the scene. The suspect was immediately arrested and charged with murder. According to the official records of the correctional institution, he was supposed to be released on January 12, 2026. The motives of the conflict between the prisoners remain unknown at the moment.

On November 12, People magazine reported that the CEO of a technology company, Touchard Atre, was killed in 2019 in California, allegedly forcing his employees to do push-ups 500 times for each paycheck. It was clarified that on October 1, 2019, 50-year-old Atre was abducted from his home in Santa Cruz. Later, his body was found in the mountains with multiple stab wounds and a gunshot wound to the back of the head.
