Starting from January 1, 2026, employers will be able to pay their employees up to 1 million rubles at the birth of a child, which will not be subject to taxes and contributions. This was stated on December 8 by Russian President Vladimir Putin at a meeting of the Council for Strategic Development and National Projects.

"So, starting from January 1 next year, the amount that an employer will be able to pay employees at the birth of a child and which will not be subject to personal income tax and insurance premiums will increase. It will amount to 1 million rubles," he said.

The President specified that the established corporate demographic standard is designed to increase the contribution of the business sector to achieving demographic indicators.
