Russian woman injured in train collision at Machu Picchu in Peru

A Russian citizen was slightly injured in a train collision on the route connecting the village of Ollantaytambo and the ancient city of Machu Picchu in Peru. This was announced on December 31 at the Russian embassy in the South American country.

"There were two Russian tourists on one of the trains. One girl suffered minor injuries. She is receiving medical care at a local clinic. The Russian Embassy in Peru is in contact with a Russian citizen," the embassy said in a statement.
