Santa Claus set off from Veliky Ustyug on a New Year's trip across Russia
Santa Claus began his New Year's journey across Russia, flying out of his residence in Veliky Ustyug. This is evidenced by data from an interactive map on which residents of the country can follow the route of a fabulous traveler.
On December 31, Santa Claus's magical sleigh will travel through all 11 time zones of Russia, and during the day he will visit many cities. A special service of the Federal Air Transport Agency allows you to track its route.
As noted in the Telegram channel of the Russian Ministry of Transport, Transport Minister Andrei Nikitin instructed the Federal Air Transport Agency to organize the unhindered movement of Santa Claus's sleigh on New Year's Eve so that children across the country receive their gifts on time.
"I ask you to monitor the movement of the New Year around the country in real time, to ensure timely clearance of corridors and priority movement," he said.
On December 17, Izvestia published footage of Santa Claus from Veliky Ustyug visiting France. On the eve of the New Year's performances, he visited the children of the Prelude Association in Saint-Germain-en-Laye. In addition, Santa Claus also took memorable photos at the Chateau Saint-Germain-en-Laye, after which he strolled along the Champs-Elysees.
All important news is on the Izvestia channel in the MAX messenger.
