More than five tourist projects were supported by the Tula authorities in 2025

In 2025, five tourism projects in the Tula Region received government support under the national Tourism and Hospitality project. We are talking about the creation of tourist infrastructure in Zaoksky, Aleksinsky, Kimovsky, Venevsky and Don districts.

Two projects have also been implemented to improve infrastructure on automobile routes, TSN24 writes with reference to Governor Dmitry Milyaev. He summed up the results of the implementation of tourism initiatives in 2025.

The development of autotourism has become one of the key areas. For example, four automobile routes have been developed for guests of the Tula region to visit the main attractions of the region. All of them are included in the national register.

The region has also received recognition at the federal level. Thus, the region became the winner of the national award "Route Built", the program for the development of inbound tourism "Discover your Russia" and the All-Russian Award "Regions of Tourism and Hospitality". The Russian Traveler Awards 2025 National Tourism Award was awarded to the Wild Mint Festival.

The Tula Region has become a pilot region of the ASI's "I'll Drive through Russia" program. Within its framework, gastronomic tourism is developing and the pet-friendly standard, which was developed by Roskachestvo, is being introduced.

Earlier it was reported that in 2024, about 43 thousand people rested in sanatoriums in the Tula region. This is 14% more than a year earlier. The region ranked seventh in the Central Federal District in terms of popularity of sanatoriums. The number of placements at the same time amounted to 2.9 thousand.
