Nutritionist Tatiana Selezneva told how to choose the right caviar in the store. In conversation with aif.ru On Tuesday, December 30, she stressed that when choosing caviar in a store, it is important to carefully check the information about the manufacturer.

Also, according to her, it is worth checking the packaging indicated, as well as the condition of the jar — it should not be swollen. She clarified that the packaging must contain the factory number and expiration date, and all labeling requirements must be strictly observed.

Speaking about the benefits of caviar, the nutritionist noted that this product is rich in vitamins A, D and E. She added that red caviar, depending on the variety, can contain up to 30% protein, while black caviar has a higher content of healthy fats.

Earlier in December, expert Arina Samoilova shared in an interview with Izvestia the key guidelines that will help to purchase high-quality products. In particular, according to her, when choosing caviar, it is important to pay attention to its consistency. A high-quality product consists of whole eggs of approximately the same size, which are easily separated from each other, without excessive dryness or an abundance of stretching liquid.
