The United States has issued new sanctions against Iran on the issue of nuclear nonproliferation. This was announced on December 30 on the website of the United States Department of the Treasury (USDT).

Three organizations from Iran have been added to the list of special categories (SDN) of the Office for Foreign Assets Control (OFAC): Fanavari electro moj mobin and Kavoshgaran asman moj ghadir, the international private equity company Pardisan rezvan shargh.

Five citizens from Iran and one citizen from Venezuela were also added to the list.
