Mishustin called the country's key priority the support of its participants
Russia's key priority at the moment is to support the participants in the special military operation (SVO). This was announced on December 30 by Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, speaking with participants of the Christmas Tree of Wishes campaign.
The Prime Minister presented gifts to Lugansk residents Margarita and Veronika, whose dad participated in a special military operation. And I talked to the girls and their families via video link. Mishustin recalled that the year coming to an end was declared the Year of Defender of the Fatherland by Russian President Vladimir Putin.
"We will always remember the exploits of all the generations who fought for our Motherland in various historical periods. And we will continue to provide support to our soldiers, this is one of the key priorities of the country and the state as a whole," the head of government noted.
On December 15, Russian President Vladimir Putin, during a meeting with Vladimir Yakushev, Secretary of the General Council of United Russia, noted that veterans of their military service in government bodies would keep special control over the support of military personnel and their families.
Also on December 9, the Russian leader announced the need to adapt veterans of the special operation. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, in turn, said that Russia had done a lot to provide various types of assistance to the heroes of its armed Forces.
