Istanbul police have detained 110 people suspected of collaborating with the Islamic State (IS, a terrorist organization banned in the Russian Federation). This was reported by the Reuters news agency on December 30.

According to the agency, mass detentions were carried out after a raid by special services on one of the organization's shelters in the city of Yalova.

The Istanbul Prosecutor's Office said 110 of the 115 wanted suspects were arrested during the operation. In addition, digital media and materials were seized.
