A resident of Komsomolsk-on-Amur was sentenced to 14 years in prison in a case of treason due to financial assistance to Ukraine. This was announced on December 30 by the prosecutor's office of the Khabarovsk Territory.

"The 1st Eastern District Military Court has handed down a verdict in a criminal case against a 44-year-old resident of Komsomolsk-on-Amur. He was found guilty under Article 275 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("High treason")," TASS reports the text of the statement.
