GP recognized undesirable activities of The George Washington University
The Russian Prosecutor General's Office (GP) has declared the activities of a private American research university, The George Washington University, undesirable in the country. This was announced on December 29 by the press service of the department.
"Instead of providing high—quality education, a private American research university uses its resources to finance foreign agents and anti-Russian actions that discredit our country in connection with its activities," the Telegram channel said.
The Prosecutor General's Office noted that university researchers have also launched a media resource that replicates materials from undesirable associations that call on the US authorities to increase sanctions pressure on Russia.
On December 24, the State Duma of Russia recognized the activities of the international non-profit organization Stichting B4Ukraine Foundation as undesirable in the country. It is noted that the organization, registered in the Netherlands, monitors the export of Russian oil and gas, aimed at strengthening sanctions against Russia, and also monitors companies that continue to operate in the Russian market.
