Croatia will protect its own airspace from 2026.
Croatia plans to independently control its airspace with the help of Rafale multirole combat aircraft from January 1, 2026. This was reported on December 27 on the website of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic.
"From January 1, 2026, the Republic of Croatia will take over the surveillance and protection of its airspace with the help of Rafale multirole combat aircraft as part of the integrated NATO air and missile defense system," the publication noted.
