Starting from February 2026, the maternity capital for the first child will amount to more than 737 thousand rubles. This was announced on December 27 by State Duma deputy Alexei Govyrin, the United Russia party.

"Starting from February 1, the amount of maternity capital will be increased. For the first child, it will reach 737,204 rubles, and for the second, if they did not receive funds for the first, it will reach 974,189 rubles," RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.
